Dnd 5e character builder xanathar
Dropdowns display only the spells available to your character, and can be filtered even more narrowly as well.
Select your starting equipment on the right-hand side - your selections will be automatically added to Character Sheet II & the Online Sheet. Make your selections, and use the overrides for anything custom you have (like magic items or something unique from your DM). Now head on over to the Equipment tab.How many you get and what you can choose is calculated for you. Select your skills, tool proficiencies, and languages. If applicable, select your ability score improvements or take feats, if your DM allows their use.Select your class(es) from the dropdowns, roll your hit dice and enter the results, and then choose any class options for which you qualify (such as archetype, fighting style, maneuvers, et cetera) from the dropdowns for your class(es). This is important for calculating your correct proficiency bonus, HP, level, and a bunch of other stuff. If you're starting at any level higher than 1, enter your current experience at the top of the Class Details box.Choose your race, subrace, background, and other character details like your name, alignment, and so on.Enter your stat rolls in Ability Scores, in the boxes under the Ability Rolls column (or use the Stats Roller button, available as of v1.6.3, and rearrange the results as needed). While we hope using CharForge is pretty self-explanatory, here's the basic step-by-step to help you roll up a character:
DND 5E CHARACTER BUILDER XANATHAR UPDATE
We're still more than happy to assist with bugs and problems that may arise (see the form for those below), and we're continuing to update it with new material. We still love CharForge, and love that people want to use it. Share it with your friends via private messages, texts, however, but please don't post it on Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, forums, or other public places. The main thing we ask is that is that you do not post the link anywhere public. You can share that Google Sheet like any other - share it with your DM, your party members, your mom, whomever. You'll probably want to make new copies of the master sheet every time you make a new character. That'll put a new sheet in your own Google Drive that nobody else can see or touch, and you can go to town.
That's easy to do, though just drop us a line at We'll get you a link, you can open that spreadsheet, go to File, and select Make a Copy. As a result, CharForge versions 1.4 and later are only available via request. That goodwill never came into question, but over time we realized that the things we wanted CharForge to do for ourselves - to handle whatever source we wanted to add - wouldn't jive with continuing to share the sheet openly. When we first started up CharForge, we shared it publicly and relied on the goodwill of WotC for allowing its continued existence.
